5. Family Saver Return - Brussels

Reprising the antics of the original Unfair Party in London last year, a number of the family members are clambering aboard the
Eurostar and heading for Brussels for The Unfair Party: Let It BE. The Brussels manifestation will take place at Beursschouwburg, in the heart of the city, on Friday 20 April 2007.

The (p)arty-specific multi-media visual extravaganza, "Untitled Party Pictures (Barracudas, Bitches and Desk Rats)" is a collaboration between Jemima Brown and Rom & Son that was made especially for the original manifestation of The Unfair Party.

For The Unfair Party: Let BE, they will revisit the original with a new version, "Untitled Party Pictures (Barracudas, Bitches and DeskRats)...met fritjes"

The representing galleries of family members Jemima & Dolly Brown, Hideko Inoue and Helmut Stallaerts will be showing at Art Brussels , itself one of the sponsors of The Unfair Party: Let It BE.

Family member, curator Ken Pratt, has organised a discussion event entitled "Les Dames Blanches" which will be taking place at Art Brussels on Sunday 22 April 2007.

This panel discussion will focus on the female experience of the contemporary Flemish art scene with a powerful line-up that includes, amongst others, Edith Doove, Karin Hanssen, Anne-Mie van Kerckhoven and Ulrike Lindmayr.

The event takes place at Art Brussels from 14:30 - 16:00.
